DRIVE TRAIN

The drive train of our bicycle will be parallel-hybrid: man-powered in the back and electrical in front.

Man-powered rear wheel drive

As rear drive train, we have chosen for a toothed belt drive. This because it runs smoother and it requires less maintenance service. The set is a Gates (©) Carbon drive belt and a Shimano (©) Alfine crank and chainring.

Electrical powered front wheel drive

The front wheel drive consists of a Crystalyte (©) HT3525 BLDC motor with a rated power output of 250W.
